As a part of the concept, Pictoform® guidelines may be complemented by tactile aiding, as either large tactile maps in metal, or as a foldable tactile map.

The larger maps in metal will be placed by the  entrance to an area, where tactile paving has been established. It would be an obvious addition to traffic junctions, to areas with pedestrian streets, squares and spaces, to town centres and similar places, and will show the important point.

When all the data regarding the area have been registrated, it will be a simple task to print the tactile map on swell paper.
The tactile map can then be required by an individual person, who will have the map present when needed.
